Taking Care Of Your Filter

Cleaning your sand:

Turn everything off-

Pour 2.5 litres of decl into sand filter, do not reseal filter.

After 12 hours use a garden stick and stir the sand.If easy to stir, reseal filter and set to to waste/backwash as it has to be removed from the sand.

Rinse well and carry on as normal.

If the sand is not free, leave for further 12 hours and try the process above again.

Maintenance

Repeat steps above every 6 – 8 weeks.

STILL GOT A PROBLEM? Change the sand, and follow the process above 6 – 8 weeks later.
